LEGISLATIVE

For current information about legislation, the NTEU national web site has a good legislative page. It is in the "Union Office" area of their site.

Make a Difference: Join TEPAC

Contributing to TEPAC is a great way to help make sure that new, pro-federal employee candidates like Amy Klobuchar get elected this November. TEPAC is the National Treasury Employees Union’s political action committee and it is extremely important to our legislative program. TEPAC is the only way that NTEU, as a federal employee labor union, can make contributions to federal candidates for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and the presidency. TEPAC allows NTEU to support members of Congress who work to protect and defend the rights of federal employees and retirees. TEPAC also helps to defeat members of Congress who are not supportive of NTEU’s causes. No dues money is used for TEPAC so it relies solely on voluntarily contributions. If you would like to become a TEPAC donor visit www.nteu.org. Due to Hatch Act rules you should not be on federal property when visiting the TEPAC site.

(TEPAC contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires us to use
our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer
for each individual whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.)

Note: "TEPAC is for NTEU MEMBERS ONLY. TEPAC is a registered labor organization political committee which does not solicit contributions from employees who are not NTEU members, as required by law."
